Stefano Migliorisi has a wide managerial experience in information and
communication technology as well as strategy development for private and
public organizations, including donor agencies. Mr Migliorisi has
pioneered the introduction of rich media communication tools in large
European organizations and has recently launched a worldwide
distribution network for a UnifiedConferencing ™ solution called
HitCast. He has also managed large programmes for the European
Commission and the World Bank.
Stefano has experience in introducing real innovation in business
practices as well as in project finance and in-depth knowledge of team
collaboration technologies. Stefano is currently director of HiT Son et
Lumière, a company offering real-time, interactive solutions for
one-to-many, many-to-one communications. The technology allows clients
to communicate interactively with their stakeholders, even without any
investment in hardware or software. This allows scheduling of events,
allow automatic recording of participants, gathering of data on user
reactions, creation of survey and polls, processing and management of
questions and answers .
Previously, Stefano worked for 5 years as a private sector specialist
with the World Bank in Washington DC. Stefano introduced innovative
financial and non-financial instruments to assist the private sector in
Africa and Asia, including the establishment of a venture capital
facility. He designed a proposal for a guarantee scheme covering
political risk of investments. He was also involved in the privatization
of several telecom corporations and commercial banks.
Before joining the Bank, Stefano evaluated biotech investment projects
both in Italy and abroad on behalf of a large venture capital company
IMI. He was also lead consultant on the financial restructuring of a
number of industrial companies in Northern Italy and carried out the due
diligence of three companies for M&A.
