Chris Meissner is a lecturer in Economics in the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). Chris has been an adviser in two studies on aid effectiveness in Eastern Neighbours and the EU Mediterranean Neighbours and programming of assistance in Ghana. Chris has been a visiting economist in the International Monetary Fund and a visiting Fellow in the Bank of England and the NBER. He has published articles on exchange regime choices and consequences, international debt markets and financial crises. His works appears in the American Economic Review, the Journal of International Economics and NBER working paper series.
Chris holds a Ph.D. in Economics from University of California, Berkeley.
