Anja Linder is an expert on fiscal decentralisation, municipal finance and social protection. Anja has been working with the World Bank supporting Brazil's Bolsa Familia Program, the largest conditional cash-transfer programme in the developing world. Anja has also reviewed the redistributive impact of social protection programmes in Peru. She has also been a member of the working group on administrative reform of the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima. Previously, Anja worked as a researcher at the Congresional Research Service (Library of Congress, USA), at the Delegation of the European Commission in Washington DC and at the Stockholm Group for Development Studies.
Anja holds a Master in Public Policies from Georgetown University.
