Mariano Filippini has extensive experience in the diagnosis, formulation and evaluation of public programs related to Small and Medium Enterprises and the competitiveness and productivity of industrial sectors and corporate and business strategy design and control, organization, valuation and new venture consulting projects. Mariano also has worked on public policy issues.
Mariano is an Associate Consultant for Dev Strategies and is also the leader for projects in Latin America, with its own team of consultants based in Buenos Aires. He has recently been involved in projects to optimize capital and technology expenditure, evaluation the financial e-market and studies on fostering research and development as a source of gaining local integration and entry into international markets.
Previously, Mariano was a Senior Engagement Manager for 2 years with Mc Kinsey in Sao Paulo, Santiago and Buenos Aires. His projects included public policy, strategic planning, organization, valuation and turnarounds. For example, deregulation initiative for the Argentine Economic Ministry, redesigning strategies for a regional bank, design of entry strategy to international markets for local agribusiness. As a Director and Manager of large companies, Mariano has also carried out the analysis of future scenarios and evaluatio nof strategic options for the pharmaceutical industry, development of an Infrastructure and Housing Public Investment Programme, Economic evaluation of a natural gas separation and fractionation project , design of corporate organization of a media group and financial and economic budgeting and development of IT solutions for international cash management.
Mariano has also been a Professor of Business Strategy in the University di Tella in Buenos Aires. Mariano holds an M.Phil in Economics from Columbia University. He also has graduated from the Stanford University executive course on Strategic Marketing Management.
